Welcome to the WNSL Electronics Group

Introduction

Welcome to our site. We in the WNSL Electronics Group are responsible for the maintenance and repair of all of the electronics in the WRIGHT NUCLEAR STRUCTURE LABORATORY. We also design and construct new electronics that either the accelerator or user requires. Here are a few pictures of the equipment in the laboratory.

Featured Project

This month's featured project is:

Digital pictures of tank sparks

For years pictures of the tank sparks have been taken with a Polaroid camera. The shutter is kept open till a spark occures. At this time the shutter is manually closed and the film removed and attached to the logbook. We are working on developing a CCD system that will take a picture of a spark and allow us to print and save the pictures on a PC.
